The writing for Mydra I commenced as soon as the line was complete, around the beginning of 1987.
After 6 to 8 months if was off to Andy and Eberhardt Feldhahn’s Esquire Studios for basic tracks. The overdubs were done after a well deserved Christmas and New year break.
The songs on this album reflected collaborations, in one form or another, by everyone in the band and gave each of us an insight into the other members state of mind…. Which, we hasten to add, was in most cases a good thing..… hi hi.

Started around the end of 1988. Keith joined in February 1989 and we knuckled down to some serious song writing fueled by Keith’s incredible voice.
Recording started around June or July in Maschen studios with a great deal of help from Dirk Elwart and Giselher Bertram, in particular, from Amptown, the premier music shop in Hamburg, who basically let us have all the equipment we needed at short notice. The reason why the studio in Maschen was picked was to get a studio big enough to get all the gear in. Two weeks were booked to do the basic track for the second album, followed by a month or two of overdubs at Esquire Studios. Due to an unfortunate incident at the Phonogram official move to Koeln party, where Keith, wanting to leave his mark…….. on someone`s face, led the record company to decide - without even listening to the album, that they would not release it.
If you listen to the tracks, you will notice a slight, but subtle change in our playing – from the very fiery Dangerous Attraction and Wild Show to the very creamy Blind Love. This is due to the live feel we captured in the studio and, of course, to the singing talents of our new addition, Mr. Keith Ellis. He, being the only change in the line-up to the first CD – Andre having departed due to “musical differences”.

Song writing for this CD started around the beginning of 2003. As Keith lives 2 hours away from the rest of the band, it was quite a task to coordinate the writing and recording sessions.
As befitting the band`s progression and evolvement…….. Oooh… once again….
Because we`ve grown up a bit !!! There are some modern elements i.e. Alternative Rock, in the music. As we were influenced by bands such as POD, Drowning Pool, Incubus….etc.
